Bikes are the fastest, most agile way to thread Los Santos traffic — and the riskiest, because one clipped barrier sends you flying. The fastest standard motorcycle in GTA Online, full stop. If a race lets you pick a bike, pick this one — elite top speed and the acceleration to match. The benchmark every other bike is measured against.
Western’s superbike — nearly as fast as the Hakuchou Drag with sharper looks. A great-handling alternative if you want something less common on the start line.
The neon-lit Akira tribute. Quick, gorgeous, and unmistakable — it even leaves a light trail in Deadline. Pure speed-and-style with none of the weaponry.

Best for getting around the map
Not a race bike — a flying one. The Oppressor Mk II hovers, glides and boosts over any terrain with lock-on missiles, which is why it’s both the best travel tool in the game and its most hated griefing machine. Expensive and divisive, but nothing moves you across the map faster. Counter it on foot with the Up-n-Atomizer.
If you want a flying bike without the missiles dominating freemode, the Oppressor’s strength is mobility — treat the weapons as a bonus, not the point.
Best budget bikes
You do not need a million-dollar bike to keep up. These are cheap and stay quick:
The classic new-player bike: dirt cheap, genuinely fast, and easy to handle. Buy it on day one and you’ll still ride it a hundred hours later.
The iconic sportbike — slightly quicker than the Akuma and just as affordable. A staple of the early game and a great-looking ride.
For dirt, hills and Cayo-style terrain, drop to a dirt bike — the Sanchez and Manchez climb and corner off-road far better than any superbike.
